Boston are a company indistinguishable
reputation within the I.T. Sector as the
supplier of high-end workstations,
render boxes and servers to system
integrators and directly out to
specialist companies of the 3D Industry
et al. Around since 1992 and we first
got to know them properly in 1994 so
there is a bonded history between us
all. Over the years Boston has strived
to lead the way in providing the latest
high performance power optimised
technologies into the ISP, HPC,
Enterprise and Broadcast marketplace
with their award winning ranges of
servers, storage solutions, specialised
workstations and clustered solutions.
Boston’s growth over the years is quite
enviable by others, with offices and
supply routes around the world and
future growth of the company is
planned. The U.K. head office is
currently under expansion of their
current facilities which is an
exceptional sign in these current
economic climates. It offers as many
bespoke builds, onsite support and a lab
to which end-users can utilise to test
and evaluate in their project builds
ensure that they get the best output for
their monies. Todays specialised
workstations, servers and render boxes
are extremely expensive and down time is
ill afforded, therefore this is a good
offering to current and future client’s.
Predominately over the years they have
produced exceptional systems based
around Supermicro solutions though in
order for Boston to reach further into
the more sophisticated marketplaces a
major deal manufacturing deal was struck
direct with
BOXX
a US Integrator
of some of the most sophisticated
overclocked 3D workstations in the world
that give the Tier 1 builders a race for
their monies. This lucrative deal
therefore means that Boston now fully
constructs the systems under licence
from BOXX in the UK for direct supply
into the UK, Europe and beyond.
When we got the call of “would you like
to review a system” the answer was a
swift yes as these systems from BOXX are
quite something else. Therefore with
the aid of Boston’s public relations
department we look at the official line
of their description of the BOXX 3DBOXX
