EXCLUSIVE - DISKEEPER 2008

The Caretaker of the Professional Workstation

Today we see the Exclusive Launch of the new Diskeeper 2008 defragmenting tool for hard discs.   This is an exciting time for the crew at Diskeeper as this new product release brings with it an abundance of new features which enhance its elder of Diskeeper 2007.  For years now we have been using the product exclusively primarily down to the fact that it maintains good maintenance within system performance.   For over a decade, Diskeeper has been synonymous in setting new standards in the way that Microsoft Windows system defragmentation technology performs.  In their true professional form,  Diskeeper 2008 continues with its tradition of a true “Set It and Forget It®” performance enhancement that is the hallmark of the Diskeeper name.

Disc Fragmentation is the administrators and end users preverbal pain – it can bring with it many unforeseen problems i.e. , the complete slowdown of system performance, data corruption and in some instances in heavy disc usage ending hard drive failures but to name but a few.   Taking these points into consideration and Diskeeper’s superiority in this arena; it has to be a product which must be seriously considered.

Hard disc performance and the smooth throughput of streaming data always are at the forefront of our minds.  This product should be at the summit of our thoughts.   Hand in hand with any system whether or not a new system or the upgrade of an older one.

The product itself supports a huge array of Microsoft Windows products all the way from Microsoft Windows 2000 to Microsoft Data Centre 2003 (Itanium). Breaking down the product portfolio we see Diskeeper Home, Home Server, Professional and Professional Premier Editions for the Home user and Workstation environments.  Within the Server edition environments we see products covering Server, EnterpriseServer and Administrator.

With these few important points now covered; let’s have a look into what the new product brings to the fore.  Some of these are pretty amazing features that have to be seen in operation to fully grasp the software’s powerful performance.
