With this test normally one would be looking for the actual composite output results, but as timing of the full test here is relevant with the implementation of Diskeeper in the final stage we have taken the total time to complete the test.   So in this instance lower times are faster.

SPECapc for 3ds Max™ 9

• Total time to complete SPECapc for 3ds Max™ 9 Benchmark (3 run pass) without any hard drive defragmentation tool enabled– 79 Minutes & 25 Seconds in DX Driver. In OpenGL sector; Total time to complete the test was 83 Minutes and 20 Seconds
   

• Total time to complete SPECapc for 3ds Max™ 9 Benchmark (3 run pass) with Diskeeper® 2008 hard drive defragmentation fully enabled – 74 Minutes & 58 Seconds in DX driver. In OpenGL sector; Total time to complete test was 77 Minutes and 24 Seconds
   

• A substantial performance gain in DX component of 4 Minutes and 27 Seconds. Under the OpenGL sector a complete performance gain of 5 Minutes and 50 Seconds.
