EXCLUSIVE - DISKEEPER 2008
Moving onwards to Microsoft's Server 2003.

We popped together a system that maybe used to replicate an inexpensive server node/workstation which many SoHo users employ.  This would in turn allow us briefly to see what effect Diskeeper 2008 had on Server 2003 as previous experience had shown huge increases in performance when we applied Diskeeper 2007.
System Configuration

1 X Intel E6700 (2.66GHz)
1 X Akasa REVO Heatsink Fan Cooler
1 X MSI P35 Neo Mainboard
1 X ATI FireGL V3600 Professional Graphic's Card
4 X 1024MB DDR2 8500 Corsair XMS2 Dominator Memory Modules
2 X 250GB Western Digital SATA Drives (3 Gb/s) Configured into Raid 1 via Windows
1 X Akasa Amber 120mm Intake Fan
1 X Akasa Amber 120mm Exhaust Fan
1 X Akasa Mirage 62 Chassis
Software & Benchmarks Utilised

Once more this was an area we could have spent all days producing results, but felt that in keeping inline with what had been previously shown just to show how much performance could be gained using a simple Raid 1 array.  The results on the next few pages speak volumes for themselves showing how effective Server 2003 is an operating system for the faint heart hearted you wish to use it.
