Once all drivers had been fully installed average idle Wattage consumption of Western Digital Caviar®
Hard Disc AMD Platform System was 111 Watts.   Total Time to complete a full installation of Western Digital Caviar® Hard Disc was 7 hours and 03 minutes.   Over this period 0.83 KWH of energy was used. 
 


Once all drivers had been fully installed average idle Wattage consumption of Western Digital Caviar®
Hard Disc Intel Platform System was 66 Watts.   Total Time to complete a full installation of Western Digital Caviar® Hard Disc was 5 hours and 25 minutes.   Over this period 0.45 KWH of energy was used. 
 

From the initial stages of set-up we therefore we see from the Intel Platform; a saving of 0.38 KWH’s had been recorded in power consumption, with an overall timed saving of 1 Hour and 38 Minutes to complete fully the tasks above.
