The Seagate System average wattage consumption whilst at idle has always been noted at 117 Watts.  With the installation of Diskeeper® 2008 Pro Premier Edition with complete functionality enabled within the software; the systems idle speed was to be noted to have climbed ever so faintly to 118 Watts at idle.

With the Western Digital Hard disc installed, the average wattage consumption to be found whilst at idle was noted at 111 Watts.  With the installation of Diskeeper® 2008 Pro Premier Edition with complete functionality enabled within the software; the systems idle speed had been noted to have remained stable at 111 Watts
