Intel® Core™ i7-980X Processor Extreme Edition

System Build

Many will simply recognise the parts within the box, though we see a new stock cooler out from Intel that will ship in the retail box.  Last but not least filling in on the other X16 PCI Express slot the Intel® RS2BL080 x8 PCI Express Card.  Therefore a few close up shots of this new HSF cooler from Intel.

Throughout our tests here we found the new stock cooler performed perfectly well and was as claimed very quiet.  It also as many will have seen gives the option to increase the fan's performance with a simple flick of the switch from quiet to performance for those wanting that little bit more from their system on air.
