System Set-up and Software Used

We utilised our one of our stable “in house” test system supplied courteously by Intel, Crucial Memory, Western Digital, Akasa and lastly LSI for the Raid Card; which could be found in most high-end studios and enthusiast workstation scenarios.   This is a very reliable and sound workstation platform which has plenty of scope for upgrading as we have shown many times over in our articles here.   The mainboard set-up is very good and it has to be noted reliably sound.

Installation and Set-Up.

It does not get any easier than this.  Pop in the CD follow the instructions that pop up on the screen.

Once you have followed the basic instructions the set-up guides you through a whole host of fundamental simple requirements.  Once these have been completed the next task is to complete the mapping of the network drives that are all pre-configured.

On completion of this, its now time to set-up the downloading and sharing polices required.  These do not take very long to complete and the wizards built into the software once more make the end-users life a whole load of easy.

Really the most basic of end users will have the ShareSpace configured, up and running within 30 minutes.  So the ShareSpace is well suited for the Small Business and SoHo user.
