Our goal in the creation of 3D Professor is to become the “One Stop Choice” for all readers regarding the High-End PC industry by offering the most unbiased opinions throughout 3D Professor. Marking of the products which come for review are extremely strict as we have had and have extensive experience in this arena catering to the High-End community. The coverage we have provided in the past has proven to be successful in not intimidating even to the first time buyer clear and precise opinions and results.
Consumers and readers alike have the opportunity to achieve the same “one-stop” experience in a cleanly organised website lacking in adverts and “pop ups” which is updated whenever possible to ensure the validity and timeliness of the information being presented.
With today’s processors, workstations can cost significant amounts of money. Realistic costing’s of either processor systems can be quite significant dependant on the system build and a progressive look to the future. With our awards that we present companies who present systems for review they must fall into the strict costing categories below. Therefore in order to be fair and taking into account today’s market pricing structure we see the following tables below. Each system is gauged upon its current build, its forethought for future usage and finally price.

These awards are also applicable to the Professional Graphic Cards we test individually in house on our own test systems and any other hardware presented for test. Testing is very strict indeed and all Workstations and Professional Graphic cards are subjective to a range of tests from SPEC namely SPECapc and SPECgpc tests which are the industry standards we work within.
To complete all of the tests on the system(s) shown have taken some considerable time to complete. Utilising at all times were possible the latest SPEC® benchmarks; we maintain the fair play rules for each SPEC® benchmark result and to reiterate the results shown in the review have been run in accordance with the fair play rules and regulations.
